If Humanity Wants to Stand Up to Evil, It Needs New Tools
Here Is One.
The world’s systems are broken.
Trust in government is gone.
Trust in media is over.
Trust in corporations, academia, public health, finance - mostly damaged.
The uncomfortable truth: We cannot vote our way out of systemic corruption. We cannot use a corrupt system of representation to fix itself.
If humanity wants to stand up to corruption - not just complain about it - we need new coordination tools.
Not louder arguments (amplified by corrupt Wall Street platforms).
Not better politicians (they are all corruptible).
We need new systems to communicate with.
Places to meet that are harder to corrupt.
New ways to form high-trust networks of people.
New vectors for meaningful change.
New tools.
Here is one such tool - a new platform:

The Problem: We Don’t Have a Way to Think Together at Scale
All of our old systems are outdated or corrupted. Places like Congress, Academia, or the voting booth no longer produce meaningful positive change. We have technology, but we are failing to use it to help us the right way.
Right now, our digital platforms are built for attention, outrage, tribalism, virality and advertising.
They are not built for structured problem-solving, high-trust collaboration, long-term cooperation, collective intelligence, transparent coordination, or iterated-game cooperation.
Reddit gives us discussion.
Twitter gives us amplification.
Facebook gives us groups.
All of them limit our reach, while enhancing Wall Street’s.
None of them give us a way to think as one coherent organism.
None of them allow us to operate as what collective intelligence calls a “swarm” - a high-trust group problem-solving unit.
What we need is a new platform where groups can:
Organize voluntarily
Build high-trust networks
Solve real problems together
Pool resources if they choose
Remove bad actors from the group in a decentralized way

Prevent bots and AI manipulation
Avoid groupthink and tribal tyranny
Accumulate trust through long-term cooperation (iterated games)
Create corruption-resistant systems that adhere to principles of transparency and decentralized power
Create “Power With” (the people) systems instead of “Power Over” the people systems
Imagine a transparent and open sourced Reddit meets a creative problem-solving and strategy game - but with verified high-trust groups, and flexibility to evolve.
Picture having a conversation with a group as if it were one new giant magical brain. We can use collective intelligence systems to talk to whole businesses (or departments), whole groups of voters, or whole communities as if they were one super-intelligent organism.
That is the missing tool.
The Platform: A Decentralized Swarm System
Imagine a platform built on five core pillars:
Transparency
Decentralized Trust (to lock AI and bots out)
Anonymous Swarm Deliberation
Collective Problem Solving and Decision Making
Confidence Scores
Not just a social network, but rather a coordination engine.
Let’s break it down.

1. Decentralized Trust: Locking Out Bots and Bad Actors
Before you can think together, you must trust the participants are real.
Not verified by a government or a corporation. Or by scanning your eyeballs. Or by asking for private information.
Verified peer-to-peer.
When two members meet in real life, they scan each other’s QR codes inside the app and leave a little review: “We met at a networking event and had coffee. 100% a real person.”
This creates a cryptographic bond between two verified humans. Over time, this forms a decentralized web of trust. The more real-world bonds you accumulate, the more your network becomes resistant to bots. AI and bot accounts cannot easily build real-world trust chains. And if someone vouches for a bot, they risk their own trust dropping, or worse, being removed from the group.
Trust is earned socially, not issued centrally.
For example, participation in any group could require:
A minimum trust threshold
Real-world verification bonds
Skin in the game (money, labor, or code-of-honor commitment)
A history of successful cooperation
Any variety of parameters decided by the group
Some groups don’t have to require anything
Each group sets its own requirements. Participation is voluntary. So is exitng if the user dislikes the system.
There is no centralized authority governing all groups. But each group can appoint facilitators, moderators, or even CEOs and employees, rather easily if pooled capital is involved.
Trust is portable across groups - but never monopolized by a single system.
And importantly: Groups can remove bad actors in a decentralized way.
If someone repeatedly defects, manipulates, or violates a code of conduct:
Their trust declines.
Their influence weight can decline.
Their access to certain swarm sessions could decline.
Their membership in specific groups may automatically expire if they fall below that group’s threshold.
No single authority needs to purge them.
The rules are transparent, the thresholds are predefined, and the enforcement is procedural. Almost like a dynamic DAO (decentralized autonomous organization).
In a long-term game, exclusion from future cooperation is the strongest consequence. Why? Because that’s how iterated cooperation works. Members of high-trust swarms benefit greatly from being part of them. By having the power to remove bad actors on the platform, it adds value and long term game incentives for the groups to cooperate and collaborate.
2. Anonymous Swarm Deliberation: Killing Groupthink
Here’s the critical insight for group problem solving in order to avoid groupthink, tyranny, and corruption:
STEP 1: High-trust identity before entry.
STEP 2: Total anonymity during problem-solving processes.
When a swarm session begins:
Everyone becomes a gray silhouette.
No names.
No labels.
No race, gender, politics, status, or reputation.
Just ideas.
Why?
Because tyranny always begins with “the others.”
When identity dominates deliberation, echo chambers form.
When echo chambers form, groupthink follows.
When groupthink follows, tyranny can form. (in that order).
So inside the swarm everyone is anonymous, ideas are judged purely on merit, and authority, status, labels, charisma, and popularity all disappear. Ideas stand alone.
After the swarm ends, identity returns.
Trust before deliberation.
Anonymity during deliberation.
This allows minority views to surface safely, creative divergence to be preserved, social pressure to be minimized, decisions to converge based on reasoning, not reputation or charm.
3. Problem Solving in Large Groups using Collective Intelligence
On this platform, every group organizes like this:
Platform → Groups → Departments → Individuals →Problems
Groups can be:
Businesses
Unions
Governments
Nonprofits
Communities
Decentralized Network states
Research teams
Investment pools
Civic movements
Educational institutions
Almost any group
Inside each group:
Departments focus on specific domains.
Departments surface specific problems.
Then the swarm begins.
The Swarm Process
Step 1: The Problem Is Posted
Clear, structured prompt. - This can come from anyone. The posting of a problem tries to recruit people from the group to volunteer to help solve the problem. Once enough people offer to help solve the problem, or after an alotted time expires for people to join, then…..
Step 2: Small Circles
Members are randomly divided into small groups of 5–10.
Step 3: Idea Generation
Each member submits ideas anonymously.
Similar ideas are merged algorithmically.
Step 4: Positive and Negative Tokens
Each participant receives limited:
Positive coins
Negative coins
Put positive coins on your favorite ideas or answers, and negative coins on the answers that repulse you.
You must allocate them. Unused coins disappear.
This forces prioritization and prevents passive majority rule.
Step 5: Top Answers Advance
Top 2–3 ideas per circle move to the next round.
Step 6: Rounds Repeat
Circles merge.
Ideas compete.
Convergence occurs.
Step 7: Final Convergence
The swarm narrows toward the strongest solutions.
At this step, the swarm can be coached or facilitated into criticizing its own answers, making them better. Ask the swarm to predict problems with the answers. Talk to the swarm like one giant brain, because that is exactly what it is.
Then decentralized Confidence Scores are attached to outcomes.
Participants indicate how strongly they support the final result.
Ones with very high support (90% or whatever the swarm decides is the threshold) can then be implemented as policy or decision for the group if they so choose.
This creates measurable group confidence - not just 51% voting, but rather a high confidence score. The people look for solutions where the confidence score gets high enough to make everyone confident in an action.
Optional safeguards:
A “Groupthink” button.
If more than 5% of participants trigger it, the system pauses and injects dissent prompts. Minority perspectives must be articulated before the swarm proceeds. The group compares the outcomes to the code of conduct.
To use the system at all will require an overall code of conduct as well, that members can eventually help the designers write.
This builds structural humility into the system.
Below is an example how we could ask all of Nevada a question and get one creative and interesting answer from the crowd. From 2 million down to our top 12 favorite answers in under an hour.
Skin in the Game
Skin in the game builds additional trust with others.
Groups can optionally require:
Money - for example $X per week or $x total to join. That money can be put in the middle and controlled by the whole swarm. (Maybe an added feature for future iterations of the platform).
Volunteer Labor hours (tracked by “badges” or “bounties” given out by the whole swarm to complete tasks)
Paid Labor Hours - All Employees of the swarm have skin in the game
Code-of-honor agreement - agree to it
Proof of contribution - track it
Or nothing at all
If pooled money is involved, skin in the game, radical transparency and a code of conduct become essential.
Capital can be allocated via swarm decision.
Budgets can be approved.
Businesses can be acquired.
Projects can be funded.
Offices can be run for.
Short-term scammers lose trust.
Long-term cooperators gain influence.
Over time, high-trust networks become stronger and more resilient.
All actions can be recorded on a blockchain, if the group desires that. And the group could use cryptocurrency like Bitcoin here for further transparency and decentralization of pooled resources.
One possibility, a Bitcoin swarm for example:
Why This Is Different
It is not social media, binary voting, nor mob rule.
It is structured, iterative, anonymity-protected, high-trust, decentralized group problem solving. It is a new way for humans to operate.
It allows millions of people to have a voice but through structured circles,
with forced prioritization, with real trust behind the scenes, with confidence weighting for decision making (90% or better), with dissent safeguards, and with decentralized removal of bad actors.

Why Now?
Institutions are fully corrupted, AI is accelerating, bots are flooding the internet. Centralized systems are fragile and about to break. If we don’t build human-first coordination tools, centralized AI-mediated systems will replace them - such as the social credit scores of China and beyond.
And those systems will not be voluntary.
Humanity needs systems designed for long-term cooperation instead of short-term manipulation. It needs tools that reward trust and collaboration. It needs metrics that demand results. It needs a place to maximize the trust possible when we play the iterated prisoner’s dilemma together, and that place must be transparent, hard to corrupt, and use the collective intelligence and creativity of the participants involved.
The Vision
Imagine:
Cities solving budget allocations this way. Taxation with direct representation.
Communicating with bosses, representatives, union reps, as one unified voice
Companies making strategic decisions this way (we already are and it is working amazingly - like THIS or THIS).
Research groups generating breakthrough hypotheses this way.
Capital pooled and deployed this way.
Communities defending themselves against corruption this way.
If humanity wants to stand up to corruption, it needs new tools.
This is one that uses theories that are testable, shows remarkable results, and the power it harnesses is still widely unkown.

A lot of serious thought has obviously gone into creating the Swarm System. I was excited that fine tuning seems to have considered every possibility and seemed ready to tackle our most basic issue: corruption in government.
The idea of creating a way for people to work through all possibilities and filter out the lumps of greed and power that would otherwise take over at the expense of humanity sounded almost miraculous. A method for integrity to stand ready to replace our crumbling corrupt political system and give power back to the people offers desperately needed hope when all seems lost.
But then money comes in as a first step. Heartbreaking! Opening a door to money in any form is what corrupted our existing power structure. It’s how power plays the game. It appeals to humanity’s greedy dark side that loves “power over” through deception, cruelty, fear and confusion.
Money is a fact of life as it now exists, but before we tackle a plan for equitably accumulating and wisely distributing money, we first need to create an alternative to a Congress motivated by greed. How competitive would politics be without the attraction of excessive wealth, power and perks not available to those they are elected to represent?
Is it possible the Swarm System could actually find candidates motivated by a sense of integrity, responsibility, respect and devotion, willing to share their wisdom and constructive ideas with like minded members for the betterment of society? People who see true service as its own reward without requiring bribes, recognition or any advantages not equally available to those they represent?
I believe people like this exist and work quietly under the radar while greed loudly claims credit and monetizes it for themselves. Finding these heroes and giving them a platform would give Swarm a solid starting position.
