In the realm of unconventional therapeutic approaches, Caili Danieu stands as a pioneer, weaving together the worlds of end-of-life care and psychedelic healing. Caili, a multifaceted professional, is a life coach, a death doula, death educator, psychedelic facilitator, and psychedelic integration specialist. In a thought-provoking interview, We delve into Caili's unique journey and the transformative power of her work.
Caili defines herself as a "death doula," a term that may be unfamiliar to many. A death doula, also known as an end-of-life doula or death midwife, specializes in providing emotional, educational, and spiritual support to individuals and their families during the end-of-life experience. While traditional medicine often focuses solely on the physical aspects of dying, death doulas, like Caili, aim to address the holistic needs of those facing mortality.
Caili eloquently summarizes her mission, saying, "Death is not a medical event, it is a life event, a spiritual event, but we’ve forgotten this as a culture." Her work involves collaborating with hospice and medical teams to fill gaps in end-of-life care, providing vital support to ensure the best possible transition.
Caili's journey into her unique field was marked by profound intuition rather than conscious choice. She recounts, "I live my life in deep surrender to guidance from spirit and my intuition." Her path into this field was driven by a deep sense of purpose. Her own experience with suicidal thoughts during adolescence led to a commitment to her own healing journey, which ultimately guided her toward working with death.
She explains, "I resolved to take my healing and mental wellbeing seriously." This resolve, combined with her intuitive knowing, led her to the realm of death work. She also realized that by embracing death and serving the dying, she could better serve the living by imparting a deeper understanding of the significance of life.
Caili's journey into the world of psychedelics was a natural progression from her work as a death doula. Recognizing the overlap between the psychedelic experience and themes of life, death, and rebirth, she began to see the potential of these substances in alleviating end-of-life anxiety and facilitating the surrender that is crucial in the dying process.
She states, "The psychedelic experience often plays on life/death/rebirth themes and also mimics death in itself through the experience of ego dissolution." Her realization led to her exploration of how these compounds could assist individuals in their end-of-life journey.
Caili's work, whether in death or psychedelic facilitation, has been met with a mix of curiosity and caution from the public. She has witnessed people's initial caution transform into increasing comfort and curiosity as they hear her speak about her work. She acknowledges her role in these experiences by making them more accessible to a wider audience.
While some individuals are intrigued and inspired by her death work, she acknowledges that not everyone is ready to confront this topic. She notes, "This work represents a complete paradigm shift in our culture’s relationship to death, and by proxy, what it means to be alive, so it’s not exactly palatable for everyone."
Looking ahead, Caili envisions a future where she can share her insights and teachings on a larger scale. She aspires to normalize the concepts of beautiful deaths and psychedelic healing, making them accessible to all who can benefit. Her passion for speaking and teaching drives her to bring further momentum, inspiration, and funding to rebranding death and healing.
She also hopes to expand her work into group medicine and retreats, recognizing the power of community in the healing process. Long-term, her dream includes a physical community space that combines education, comfort, and healing—a place where individuals can find solace and transformation.
Caili has witnessed numerous positive transformations in her clients, often describing these experiences as profound and life-changing. She emphasizes, "I’ve seen many feel real, deep, unconditional love," highlighting the primary role of love in the healing process.
She has observed individuals releasing trauma they didn't even realize they carried, forgiving themselves, and experiencing redemption for past actions. Some have even encountered profound spiritual experiences, making peace with their fear of death. Caili emphasizes that while these experiences are powerful, they are not a "magic bullet." Instead, they serve as a guiding light, illuminating the path to healing and self-discovery.
Not all journeys are successful, and Caili acknowledges that some individuals may not fully experience the psychedelic journey. She explains that medications or supplements can sometimes inhibit the medicine's effects. In other cases, a deep resistance within the individual's psyche prevents them from fully surrendering to the experience.
She addresses these challenges through education and preparation, emphasizing the importance of setting and intention. She also views the healing process from a lifelong perspective, trusting that every individual has the experience that is of the highest service to them.
In the future, Caili hopes to share her vision for a future where her work continues to touch lives and inspire change. Her passion for healing, coupled with her deep understanding of death and psychedelics, masculine and feminine, and more, offers a unique and transformative journey for those seeking solace, growth, and connection in the face of life's greatest mysteries.

For over 3 billion years on this planet there were only single-celled organisms. Then one day they somehow learned to work together and make complex multi-celled creatures . Right now we are like those single-celled organisms. Our next evolution is finding how to work together, better… (like we wrote about here).

Western society’s fear and anxiety surrounding the very natural process of death is what allows the psychopathic control that that the globalists exert on us. Recognition and acceptance of death empowers a more meaningful life. As a corollary, while most people go through life looking for happiness, a life of meaning is far more beneficial on a personal and societal level.
