Expecting corrupt congressmen to vote against corporations is futile sadly - we should make laws as a true democracy, no politicians that we ask to do what we should do ourselves.
We agree. We are not asking anyone to vote. We are looking to build a new system, migrate to it, and use our new system to fix the corrupted one by forming a direct democracy of sorts. Or at least decentralized the politician into a group of decision makers.
Good to hear, it will probably take one of us to get people to migrate to the new system. Something like a forum with simple polling would be quick and effective
if there is no system to hold anyone accountable, then laws do not matter. It is illegal to rape children on islands, but no one to hold them accountable. The problem is deeper than regulation.
We unify but we have a system that affords every one of us equal voice. And unify with the like-minded. We can't all be one but we can find others like us and work together of shared interests. At the same time, dissolve the idea that we need "representatives". Having them is something like needing chaperones. We can do ALL of it ourselves.
We're seeking the same thing, as many millions of others are. Three years of my Substack would be the answer as to what my proposals are, that I find myself being a lone Substack voice for. Here's one post that was my turn-of-the-year dramatic suggestion:

Corruption is a problem ???
The solution to that is very simple:
Subject AIPAC and ADL to FARA-regulations !!!
Problem solved ....
IMMEDIATELY

{...The problem is deeper than regulation...} BINGO !!!
INFILTRATION of all state institutions is the cause.
See my 1st. comment ...

Should, must, ought...okay, but how?
That's not how to get anywhere, but is a restatement of what we should be dealing with.
by building a new high trust system, migrating to it, and locking out the corruption
How will we bring that about?

Where is it? If it is just returning to small circles and local farming only that won’t work.
