The Most Important Thing We Can Do In 2025 is Fix Our Corrupted Systems
Systems of government, business, media and beyond.
Problems are what drives progress, and the best way to solve problems is with better systems.
Humanity used to go and solve our collective problems in places like Congress, Academia, and the media. But those places (systems) have all become corrupted. So what can we do? We must build new systems that are much harder to corrupt. Decentralized, transparent systems that run on things like dynamic collective intelligence, instead of binary and corrupted voting.
Simply put, voting is not the best way for people to solve problems in groups. We misconstrue our right to have a say in self-governance, as simply the right to vote. But voting is archaic. With technology at our fingertips, and a better understanding of how systems of people are easily corrupted when power is centralized, we can find much better ways to solve our collective problems as humans, and we don’t need anyone’s permission to do so.
One thing is certain: on average a group of people is much better at solving problems than any individual in the group alone. Groups of people are not “dumb.” This is a huge misconception that is easy to disprove. We can solve problems much better if we create new high trust places and systems to enhance collective intelligence. We need places to solve our problems that are hard to corrupt, and places that allowed criticism and competing theories to arise. Once we create these new systems we then plug them into the corrupted ones in order to fix them.
It is really that simple.
We wrote an extensive collaboration about this topic HERE, if you’d like to explore some of these concepts more deeply.
In 2025, we hope you form high trust groups of friends, business partners, families, and communities and use these groups to solve problems as swarms. It works. Collective intelligence is real and testable. Even 2 people solving a problem is better than one, if the proper criteria are met.
We also hope you constantly improve the systems around you to make the world a better place for the next generation. The best thing we can leave them is better systems, and a better understanding of the kind of systems needed to get results.
Happy New Year!
All problems that do not defy the laws of physics are solvable.
Solving problems is happiness.
And humans solve problems better in high-trust groups.

For over 3 billion years on this planet there were only single-celled organisms. Then one day they somehow learned to work together and make complex multi-celled creatures . Right now we are like those single-celled organisms. Our next evolution is finding how to work together, better… (like we wrote about here).

It makes everything good that you try and do suspect and hard to promote.
Start to publish lists of questions that you think worthy of answers like how to improve your system
Accept that your system may be an early and eventually to go extinct system when you put out calls for ideas on better systems.
If you have a list of questions you may receive answers that already offer substantial improvement over the present state that can be actioned immediately.
I have been following for some time and all I see is vapor ware.
Have a look at what OneSmallTown is working on, they have plans that have lofty goals but perhaps not enough brain power to iron out the kinks, they might be able to benefit from your systems and viceversa.
Fix them? I think they should be destroyed.
