And what if we used collective swarm intelligence to do it in a way that would be very hard to corrupt?

What if people created a new decentralized union in order to collectively bargain with our governments?

And what if we used collective swarm intelligence to do it in a way that would be very hard to corrupt?

Small local circles, connected to larger networks, in order to remain decentralized and keep AI and bots out of our systems. Also, the in-person meet ups locally would be a way to rebuild trust and community, and reset our culture. Our new union could become a good force for change.

This is all possible with the right framework and enough collective effort.

We need to do more than criticize the corruption. We need to fix it in an intelligent and safe way. Decentralization of power is the way. Not violence. Not voting for a corrupted politician who adheres to a fake group label. We must unite over the most important cause of all. We must demand “Power-WITH” systems, not “Power-OVER” systems, and they need to be open to direct scrutiny by the people in a fully transparent way.

Our systems right now are power-over systems, the government has power OVER us. This is a centralized system and therefore it is easy to corrupt and has been corrupted. We need to reject all power-over systems and convert all systems to power-with systems. To do this, we must make our own systems and then migrate to them.

Maybe first, we start a union. We can pool resources and knowledge, and instead of having union representatives which are easily corrupted, we can use radically transparent collective intelligence systems.

If humanity formed a union to collectively bargain with government, it could fundamentally reshape how democracy operates. In America, this union could act like a massive organized labor movement -only instead of bargaining for wages from a single employer, it would negotiate for policies and priorities from the government on behalf of citizens, and pressure existing representative while giving an actual voice to their constituents. As we all know, our representatives are no longer representing us. In fact they don’t ask our opinions or solutions at all; rather, they TELL us the solutions.

By using collective intelligence platforms (like THIS, THIS, or THIS), millions of people could deliberate, debate, and reach consensus on issues such as healthcare, taxation, climate action, or surveillance - and nearly all of these ideas would have higher confidence scores and approval ratings than the two bad and corrupted choices we are currently given. This union could be structured around verified membership (one person, one voice) and leverage swarm intelligence, where patterns of collective agreement rise from transparent, distributed discussions rather than from party politics or lobbyists. Negotiations with government could resemble contract talks: clear demands, measurable outcomes, and accountability clauses. Over time, this could evolve into a new civic operating system - where government becomes less a distant authority and more a service provider answerable to a coordinated, intelligent citizenry.
