Censorship is the tool of power-seekers. The tool is double edged. It is used to cut down opposition and it is used to brainwash the gullible. The hysterics about misinformation aims to do both. These power-seekers have captured the mainstream media and the Educational Industrial Complex. The rational have a steep climb ahead.
“Intellectual coward” is more of a perfect insult to those who do it than it is an accurate assessment of why the tool is used (it is used by tyrants). But the tyrants need compliance from some, so when we see those people cheerleading for censorship we call them intellectual cowards. It seems to work because they usually think they are intellectually superior.
Amen. Intellectual cowards are easy to identify, and they have fragile egos. We need to aggressively call them out. They aren’t going away, and they are emboldened when not challenged. When they pretend to debate, the first thing they don’t say is “diversity is our strength except when it comes to diverse viewpoints.” They respond with ad hominem attacks, false analogies, red herrings, smirky casuistry . . . all the logical fallacies we no longer teach high school students to recognize. Calling out intellectual dishonesty and logical ineptitude sometimes shuts them down—which is why they resist debate and resort to flagrant lies. I was taught that Satan is the father of lies. Let’s call them out on that too.

❝. . . utterly exhaust humanity with dissension, hatred, struggle, envy and even by the use of torture, by starvation, by inoculation of diseases, by want, so that the GOYIM see no other issue than to take refuge in our complete sovereignty in money and all else.❞
We must be in a position to respond to every act of opposition by war with the neighbors of that country which dares to oppose us: but if these neighbors should also venture to stand collectively together against us, then we must offer resistance by a universal war.
Great point. Quieting down to listen with an open mind requires a little humility and recognition that "I might be wrong." To me, the first clue of a lack of that humility is shrillness tantamount to an interpersonal one-way filibuster.

If we can quiet the noise it’s not so steep. We need a better place or system to converse

Succinct, excellent piece, thank you. My new favourite Latin phrase. The other one, of course, being about not letting the bastards grind you down! 😏
Which one is that? Do share!
Here's a comprehensive background to the phrase:

"Illegitimi non carborundum" is the actual phrase.
