Let's Keep Inviting Those We Disagree with to Talk.
Like RFK Jr Just Did While Getting Censored at a Congressional Hearing About Censorship.
If you strongly disagree with us, we want to have a conversation with you.
Let's talk.
Right now, there is one person running for President who has been consistently talking like this, and it is refreshing to hear. RFK Jr. continued this unique streak in Congress last week while nearly being censored by politicians at a literal Congressional hearing about censorship.
That really happened.
But there is a valuable lesson we can all learn here. When you criticize RFK Jr., he invites you to sit down at the table and discuss it with him. This approach accomplishes many powerful things, and really makes anyone refusing to sit down and talk appear the villain. Instead of fueling the flames like our media often does by simplifying arguments to pejoratives or name-calling, this approach counters with a gateway for empathy, understanding, and finding common ground.
We might also recognize the potential for creating social media platforms that could facilitate these types of powerful conversations online in the future. Imagine if, instead of encouraging people to fight - like most platforms do now - we had systems that promoted healthy productive debates, Idea Labs, think tanks, consensus building using Human Swarm Intelligence, and aided the mobilization of millions of people towards solution-oriented systems.
We wrote in depth about an imaginary system like this, here. It is time for ideas like this to come to fruition. We know of several in the pipeline but we need more.
We must stop letting top-down billionaire corporations, media pundits, and corrupt politicians dictate the solutions to us. When we allow them to dictate, they tell us the "solutions" are lockdowns, CBDCs, DEI credits, fewer freedoms, and more segregation of people into classes…. But these are not OUR solutions. These are theirs. They trick us into hating those who disagree with us. We must block this propaganda out. We need a seat back at the bargaining table with each other to create our own solutions to these problems. It starts with something as simple as talking to people we disagree with, while blocking out the incessant noise of the propaganda machines. The way RFK Jr. consistently responds to vitriol with invitation seems like a wise place to start.
Let’s consider it, as we continue to solve some problems this week.
All problems have solutions. Cheers.
As always the entire purpose of The Society of Problem Solvers is to connect with other solutions-minded results-driven people like yourself!
Thank you to all of the writers that make this possible. We are accepting guest writers, so if you have an idea for a solution, please reach out. Let’s solve it all, together.
For over 3 billion years on this planet there were only single-celled organisms. Then one day they somehow learned to work together and make complex multi-celled creatures . Right now we are like those single-celled organisms. Our next evolution is finding how to work together, better… (like we wrote about here).

COMMENTS ARE FOR EVERYONE AS A PLACE TO THINK-TANK SOLUTIONS. They will never be for paid-only subscribers and we will never charge a subscription.
Vivek Ramaswamy is doing a good job of this as well but he is, admittedly, not taking as much incoming flak as RFK Jr. It is omportant to remember our country founded by men of diverse opinions and backgrounds that were able to have coversatuons and civil debates.
Solving problems together for mutual benefit is one thing. Forcing preconceived solutions upon us is another. There is very little in government, big tech, the media and many other areas that I can accept, trust or engage with.
RFK can debate the democrats, liberals, RINOs and leftists all day long and get absolutely nowhere because these factions are close minded, indoctrinated and extremely afraid to think outside their limited thought environments.
These are arrogant slobs and intellectuals who refuse to believe they can ever be wrong and who think the world revolves exclusively around them. To somehow meet in the middle, you need rationality from both sides...the DC Swamp and most institutions in this country ain't it.
