Not everyone is at the same level of debate. So you have to ‘play’ with people are varying levels of ability.

I have not "forgotten" your work or our original seminal concepts: the recent ChatBot A.I. on Wired reminded me.. and I have commented on a couple other sites.. I should have told you that I had eye (retinal surgery) and more to come,, yes it has been difficult to work on line, additionally I am still on my small laptop; the only reason I can still comment or see (literally) is because I have been on line for so long I don't have to look anywhere but the screen; or use spellcheck, I will come back to this. OH and Microsoft puts almost all substack content in my Junk mail now.. :) yep. BELIEVE ME.. you know I have been thinking about this: there is only place to go: review history or back to the future to be hokey.. lol. backwards. Now I really get what History is prologue means.. you know these times are vexing to men's souls.. but the answers that we seek have known for generations upon generations: it is that no one likes the answer. HIs question like I have always said, "One must ask the right question to get the an answer"... not even the correct answer.. (which does not happen in subjective discussions... which is part of the problem).. will save and I have two months worth of surgery.. f/u.. a real mess coming up.. have a blessed. up coming Spring.. you know what I mean.. best Isabell

I love this!! I dare say my marriage is an “idea lab,” and Toru’s wit, unique perspectives and love of playing the Devil’s Advocate helped to poke and prod me out of my own left-leaning “echo chamber.” Excellent read, I’ll have to check out the book soon

Wow. I love it when a post like this reinforces some inchoate thoughts I've been pondering. I was thinking about how everything is trial and error from the creation of the universe (according to the multi-verse people), to natural selection, to science (start with hypothesis and then attack it) to our system of government (federalism). To me it's just mind-blowing that somehow, the universe is operating through me when I think and act and create. Thanks to RW Malone for the trail of breadcrumbs that lead me here.

Hi, I spent some hours thinking about solving problems. I have made a one-page intro to what I came up with, which is a voluntary democratic formation, but certainly more to read there. Cheers.

This is an existing notion. I totally agree that the more minds we can engage at all levels the greater the input from all angles. I’m more of the mindset that every cell is necessary to make up the whole and none is more important, or of greater value. Our problem mainly lies in people thinking whatever they have or believe in is ‘better than’ what someone else has or believes in. Really it’s nothing more than just ‘another’ way. The ‘better than’ is the creation of all of our divisiveness, our wars, and the egregious, aggressive and violen5 behavior we are all so familiar with that happens daily in the world in which we live.

I suggest we all keep it simple and make it a point of being more loving, being more accepting, being more joyful, being more grateful, and being more blessing. Find your contentment and create in yourself the grandest version of the greatest vision you ever had of who you really are.
