The Most Powerful Force in the Known Universe is Human Imagination
David Deutsch shares his amazing and optimistic view. Humans are special, because we can control cosmic forces with knowledge.
We are admittingly huge fans of David Deutsch’s philosophy, especially his Principle of Optimism which basically states that problems are everywhere, and that all problems that do not defy the laws of physics are solvable with the right knowledge. The only reason humans will fail at anything is lack of knowledge.
This idea is so profound, in fact, that we believe that a culture change in this direction could be powerful enough to change our entire society into a Problem Solving Society.
And to us, solving problems is happiness.
One of many epic speeches here by David:
If the most powerful force in the known universe is knowledge, and knowledge is created with human imagination, how can we maximize and harness this force better? We believe it is by using high-trust Collective “Swarm” Intelligence ecosystems. We must learn how to solve problems better in groups, and harness the real and testable wisdom that is found in crowds, safely.
Stay tuned!

For over 3 billion years on this planet there were only single-celled organisms. Then one day they somehow learned to work together and make complex multi-celled creatures . Right now we are like those single-celled organisms. Our next evolution is finding how to work together, better… (like we wrote about here).

The biblical account of the Fall recounts how Mankind acquired forbidden knowledge by eating of the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil. Was this a fable or did it describe something that must inform our understanding of knowledge? You don’t have to be a believer to understand that history has answered that question. Knowledge can be used for good or for evil purposes, often it is used for both. Our world today would seem to be dominated by the use of knowledge for evil purposes. While lack of knowledge can be associated with sin and failure, the biggest problem we face as humans is not a lack of knowledge, it is a lack of right relationship to God, a lack of Godly character.
Knowledge that is not linked to a holistic view and good intentions is a very destructive force that leads to death and monotony only. We're currently at this stage.
Any knowledge that enhances the quality-level of intentions in sight ?
