While a perfectly transparent and trustworthy system is certainly the ideal, it’s still far away. What do we do in the meantime? How do we fight back *today*?

This post gives us a starting point —

I am currently investigating a multi million pound historical fraud at my local council where they have been recharging the bad debt of the council tax department back to the people who they take to court for non payment. This has been done with the connivance of the local judiciary. The obfuscation, ignorance and slow walking is palpable. This is just one area I have scratched into to reveal the true inner workings of local government and it fills me with despair

Sounds like you should run for office, get some of our new technologies, show the corruption to the world and let’s use it to arrest and punish some people

Thanks for the suggestion, what gives me the edge is the same as Trump in that I come from a business angle but what is against that is I am very private which again is another advantage in asymmetric warfare. It will be a long slog but I will expose them in the end.

I can't agree with that completely 100%. I have a cousin that is completely trustworthy, but would take us down a very bad road. On the other hand, I have voted for people that I don't know enough about to trust, but who have turned out to do very good things for their constituents.

Give our power away to ourselves? It doesn’t sound like you are understanding the power of decentralization to me. Have you read the Book the Starfish and the Spider. Honestly it is must reading to understand this topic. Because what you are saying to my is just hyperbolic- no offense. In fact I want you to understand it more. Maybe start here, with HOW DO WE STOP YHE DEEP STATE? Decentralized working on missions together is a form of volunteerism, but digital and often with monetary bounties
