It did to us too. Until one of our writers had their clinical anxiety suddenly disappear after switching to “lion diet” for a few months (lion is a stricter form of carnivore). He went from having daily panic attacks (for almost a decade) to not having them at all anymore. Ever. He also cured his autoimmune disorders.

There are way too many success stories to label this a “fad diet” anymore. We also shouldn’t be calling the evidence “anecdotal” anymore. People go into the diet with the intention of curing themselves and then do so over and over again with a near perfect success rate and with all different kinds of variables otherwise.
If you can repeat an experiment over and over again - that is the epitome of science. How many papers did Einstein publish? Or Maxwell? Yet their experiments have been repeated billions of times. We have spoken to almost 100 people - personally - who have CURED themselves of autoimmune disease with carnivore. And by “cured” we mean normal blood tests. Remyelinated brain scans. Zero symptoms. Off of all their medications.
Skeptics sometimes lash out at us saying things like “But what if they return to “normal” eating?”
Our response is this, “Is eating poison considered normal? If you were eating cyanide and were sick, stopped and got better, would you expect to be able to eat cyanide again?”

3 years ago I tried the ketogenic diet. I heard Dr. Ken Berry talk about carnivore and I thought he was crazy. But I tried it after listening to Dr. Jordan Peterson talk about it on Joe Rogan. It's the best thing I ever did. I no longer suffer from depression, anxiety and panic attacks nor road rage. I'm no longer pre-diabetic. I can raise my right arm without pain. No more menstrual pain. No more thinking about food 24/7 because beef makes me feel satiated. My go to are burger patties and eggs. But sometimes I eat other types of meat and low carb foods. Keto carnivore?
The transition from the standard American diet to keto was rough until I started using electrolytes and magnesium calm. I also went through sugar withdrawals. I could smell bread everywhere for the first two weeks. I thought I was going crazy. But after those 2 weeks, this way of eating has been a true blessing. Mentally, emotionally and physically.
Its amazing how many people will tell you how bad a diet like this is for you, without ever trying it for themselves. I have been using different variations of fasting and will run into the same kind of dogmas. THEY will tell you how dangerous and not healthy it is. My only reply is How it makes me feel, and it makes me feel great. Too funny how TEDX passed on this young ladies talk.
