We Need Alternative Systems in Case These Maniacs Break Ours. Join the Think Tank!

We all know by now that our biggest problem is that our systems have been corrupted. By maniacs? Maybe. That part is hard to be certain of. But certainly by people that have no problems bombing children with drones, gaining functions on pathogens in secret labs, starting wars, extorting money via taxation, or by signing away medical treaties to the WHO or UN. This much is obvious.
The best nonviolent way we can see to solve this enormous problem is to create new alternative high-trust systems that are not under centralized control by these “Corruptors.” Then we migrate to these new systems, or at least keep them on standby in case The Corruptors break our current systems before we can fix them.
Leaders are the weak link for corruption in all systems of people. They are the point in our system where the corruption happens. We don’t need them. We can create new systems that work better, faster, wiser, are more trustworthy, are quicker to error correct, and are much more corruption resistant. In fact, we can build leaderless systems, decentralized systems, and transparent systems. All while still keeping the good parts of our current systems such as adhering to a Constitution, protecting individualism, and protecting individual freedom.
This is the advantage we have over The Corrupters. They must act in secret. They must lie. And their corruption requires centralized control in order to be effective. So we counter this by building new, radically transparent systems, with decentralized bottom-up control.
Our other advantage is speed. We can create new knowledge, adjust, and be more dynamic and flexible when we act without leaders. Remember what Napster and Kazaa and Morpheus did to the music industry in the early 2000s? Or what podcasts and Substack and the decentralized media did to the Centralized News Networks such as FOX, MSNBC, or the NY Times in the last 5 years? Or what homeschooling is doing to centralized schooling? Or what Bitcoin is doing to the central banks?
We can do this to all systems.
The push back against leaderless systems always seems to be that we “need leaders” to execute. That’s debatable, but not what we are advocating for. We are advocating for systems where the solutions come from the bottom up, and the final say of the system resides with the people. To execute, yes we can hire “leaders” or top-down systems to work for the people. But they must always answer to the decentralized group in the end.
Trust is what is broken in our society. Society is a much better place when our systems are trustworthy. No one trusts any systems currently. Government, food, media, academia, medicine and even science have lost the trust of the people. We need an alternative place and a new system where trust can be regained - before it is too late.
Additionally, for any leaderless system to work, it must be run with the proper tools - ones that optimize decentralized groups of humans to solve problems and find consensus. It must also prevent echo chambers by operating without individual human labels when solving problems. When this happens, The Wisdom of Crowds can be harnessed. We have written many articles about this Collective Intelligence phenomena, and how we can use it to our advantage in systems of people. If you are new to the idea, simply put, humans solve problems better in groups. But only when the systems we use are high-trust, radically transparent, and can aggregate answers the proper way. When groups of people solve problems together in high-trust units they become almost superhuman. Like SEAL teams. We call these groups “swarms.”
For example, a recent paper just came out where they took groups of 35 people and gave them IQ tests. The individual average of the groups taking the IQ test got about 46% of the questions right. When the groups acted as a swarm of 35 people -together as one - on a high trust collective intelligence system, the number of correct answers almost doubled to over 80% correct. The group’s IQ shot up to an effective IQ increase of 28 points, and put the group into the top 97% percentile when acting as a swarm. This is profound.
Human Swarm intelligence is simply this: group problem solving and creativity. And we believe it is how we can change most of the world’s systems into leaderless, high-functioning problem-solving systems. The world becomes a much better place if this happens.
In addition, humanity more than ever needs a place where we can go to discuss, debate, think tank, criticize, conjecture, and implement ideas. These types of places used to exist with Congress, Academia, and more. But they have largely become corrupted and have lost the trust of the people.
It is time to build new systems, and we need as much help as possible. If you are interested in helping try to problem solve for this, please join us on the new Think Tank Forum on SwarmAcademy.ai
It is a modern forum with an old school layout where the format is much more conducive to being an “idea lab” than social media, or other types of platforms that create divisiveness currently are. But this is just the beginning. Soon we hope to have a place to go where we can set up groups working on different problems and you can apply to join that group — or “swarm” — and instead of just arguing on social media we can all try to help solve problems with each other.
Here are some of the awesome things we are focused on at Swarm Academy:
A Think Tank / Message Board to discuss all things related to collective Intelligence, problem solving in groups, and high trust systems
Making new high-trust systems that are resistant to corruption and constantly tested and updated against vulnerabilities
A complete training course and “flight simulator” for swarming. Here students will learn how to problem solve in high-trust swarms and harness the wisdom of crowds
Collective intelligence systems that can run unions, governing systems, and even governments big and small without leaders, by plugging into them (like we wrote extensively about HERE).
DAOs / smart contracts that use swarm intelligence systems as a consensus engine and governing tool
Network States (digital countries) run as direct democracies using high-trust swarm intelligence systems
LEADERLESS: a conceptual new country without leaders where we all build the system together, and write a new code and agreement. Leaderless is one of the nee Network States where anyone can apply to become a citizen, but actually becoming one requires effort. The purpose of the effort is to ensure trust. Part of that trust will include skin in the game, and graduating from Swarm Academy.
Businesses and Nonprofits run by swarm intelligence systems
Bitcoin Swarms - where groups pool Bitcoin and decide how to spend it using collective intelligence, together as a swarm
High-trust systems - using transparency, peer-to-peer trust tokens and/or vouches, and other trust tools
Being able to ask the entire world a question and getting one creative and wise answer from the group - mass aggregation systems.

Here is a hypothetical: If you were responsible for creating a brand new country, or new alternative system that was more resistant to corruption than our current ones, what are some things you would do differently?
These are the types of things we hope to discuss at SwarmAcademy.ai

For over 3 billion years on this planet there were only single-celled organisms. Then one day they somehow learned to work together and make complex multi-celled creatures . Right now we are like those single-celled organisms. Our next evolution is finding how to work together, better… (like we wrote about here).

I will check out the site. I have a fundamental question - is there a moral basis to the structures created? The corruption is within each of us. Human flourishing has occurred when we had a common moral basis. The moral underpinnings have been knocked out. Throughout history this leads to the corruption and failure of societies & culture. Liberty, self-governance and decentralization are actually Biblically supported. Not sure we can get there without acknowledging our corrupt natures - but the effort is worth it.
It's never been so clear to me that they're trying to break us..
