Wow. ZERO COMMENTS.. actually I know why.. David Deutsch is brilliant and did take a look... at his utube TED talk. there is a HUGE BUT; and I will for sure come back to him. I read Steven Hawkins books and was NOT impressed at all. He is compelling but no I don't think he is the one most profound scientific minds of our time. I ran across some outliers in my research.. and that is why I write Science is Political. When I was studying physics and the ancient history of scientific study I can think of many examples which do no support his premises: I do however agree that Humans do play a crucial role in the elucidation and discovery of the parts of the Universe within our time continuum. I have spent years doing thought experiments about TIME and its constructs. The language of science is math making the transmission of these concepts even more difficult leading of course to the computer and A.I.. hoping that machine could solve some of the mysteries of the universe by massive number crunching. I would say and as usual: like a good friend of mine named his poety book: Out of time, Running. that the closest that we can get to understanding the Universe is by the Webb Telescope. sigh and there is my phone ringing. very fascinating. will take a longer look. Isabella
David has some deep insights into computation as well, especially universality when it comes to quantum computation as compared to what we see in our day to day reality of computation.
So important that they feel the dire need to kill each other off. I really hope there are no other humans in the universe. Maybe beings who are more hopeful and rational.
They are tricked into it. No person is born wanting to kill another. It is our systems which bend us and trick us into it. The root cause is the corruption.
